MLQ5 series 4P Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is a button-type dual power changeover switch. It is designed to automatically switch between two independent AC power sources. When the main power supply fails, the ATS transfers the load to standby power to ensure uninterrupted power supply for critical electrical equipment. This series has four current specifications: 160A, 250A, 400A and 630A to meet different load capacity requirements.
MLQ5 series 4P PC class ATS automatic transfer switch is button control type dual power changeover switch, available in 160A,250A,400A,630A. It supports auto and manual operation with mechanical & electrical interlock protection. The front panel button allows easy switching between automatic and manual modes. It automatically transfers loads to standby power upon power abnormality.
This ATS adopts integrated PC-level structure, fitted with mechanical and electrical dual interlock protection, which effectively prevents the two power sources from being connected simultaneously and avoids dangerous short-circuit accidents. It supports automatic and manual dual operation modes. The control panel is equipped with a button to switch between Auto / Manual mode for simple and quick operation.
Automatic Mode
The controller continuously monitors the voltage status of Source I and Source II. When the main power supply has faults such as power loss, undervoltage or overvoltage, the ATS will automatically switch the load circuit to the standby power supply. After the main power supply returns to normal, the switch will automatically switch back according to preset delay time.
Manual Mode
Switch the panel button to Manual status. Operators can rotate the handle manually to switch between Source I and Source II. The mechanical interlock protection remains effective during manual operation, ensuring that the two power circuits cannot be closed at the same time.
